Accessibility
At Corralejo Surf School we care about making this website comfortable to use for everyone, regardless of their abilities or the device they use.
What we have done
- Colour contrast — all text meets the colour contrast requirements of the international web accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1), achieving level AA on all elements and AAA on the main ones.
- Dark mode — the site automatically adapts to the theme set on your device (light or dark). You can also switch it manually using the button in the header.
- Keyboard navigation — all interactive elements (menus, buttons, links, forms) are accessible by keyboard. A visible focus indicator appears when navigating with Tab.
- Skip link — there is a hidden link at the top of each page that keyboard users can activate to jump directly to the main content, skipping the navigation.
- Alternative texts — relevant images include alternative descriptions for screen readers.
- Readable typography — we use font sizes and spacing that make reading easier, working well on low-resolution devices and large screens.
- Responsive design — the site works correctly on mobiles, tablets and desktop screens.
Known limitations
Some photo galleries and the embedded Google Maps component depend on third-party services over which we have limited accessibility control. If you encounter any difficulty in these sections, write to us and we will help you personally.
